ExCEL Center

The Center for Entrepreneurship Experiential Learning (ExCEL) is the first point of contact for a project team or individual to present a project idea.

GETTING STARTED

  • Make Connections - Contact Stacey Keefe at the ExCEL Center, via e-mail (excel@syr.edu) or phone (315-443-7086) to discuss the goals of your project and availability of funds.  Be prepared to discuss the roles the organization, faculty member, and students might play in the project, along with resources that are needed to launch the project. Examples of resources you may need are a business plan, market research, web site, etc.

  • Develop Ideas – Connect with a faculty or community member who is knowledgeable about your area of interest. Develop a project that faculty, students, and the community will work on together.

  • Complete the application form – Assistance is available from the ExCEL Center to help you complete the Enitiative grant application form. Click here for the grant application.
